Welcome to "Slavery - Will it Last Forever?"

            We, students from the Pan American School of Bahia, have prepared a website entirely about slavery since the time in which Pedro Álvares Cabral arrived at our land, until present day. More than 500 years have gone by since then, nonetheless the racist belief that had been formed and is still present in the minds of our compatriots.

            With the purpose of informing, so that what is happened is changed, we have created this website in the midst of great expectations and great revolts. Expectations, because we have had the chance to share what we know and must be faced; revolts, because this topic can only be presented due to whips, threats, despair, and suffering of many people all around the world.

We hope that another “Lei Áurea” is signed – and this time, followed.
