Affected Brazil:

Brazil was affected very much with the immigration. First of all, after the slavery abolition in 1888, the Brazilian government stimulated and agreed to hire European immigrants. The government thought that the immigrants had qualified workmanship. This taken measure was made because of a main reason. This reason was that there were no more enslaved people and this would be the only way to substitute them. With this necessity, thousands of Italians and Germans had arrived to work in the farms of coffee in the interior of São Paulo. This was a very important way that immigration affected Brazil.

Another example of how immigration affected Brazil was because it gave an absolute importance and value to the Brazilian culture. The fact that diverse nationalities came to Brazil, ended up as a consequence that incorporated many different characteristics from each country of the world. Innumerable influences had been brought by the immigrants, and today exercised as true Brazilian characteristic. The Portuguese language, the diverse culinary, the agricultural techniques, the musical strokes, and several other influences.
